2103 Subaru, 17k miles, no mods, driven daily. Fixer upper.
I can look at this now, almost a month later and not freak out just a bit. Three taco'd wheels and pretty massive damage. The salvage value was around 5k, I am told.
After much paperwork and whatnot I am replacing the 13 WRX with a different other WRX after extensively searching for one and then getting lucky. I would say it was hard work but whatever. A less dinged up car will be in the garage tomorrow by this time. Meanwhile my son and I have pretty much healed up.
This is the good side of the car. The passenger side was worse. The door had to be cut off to get my son out (again, he is FINE).
Don't drive tired. Just don't. The wisdom was expensive, get yours cheap.

Glad you're both doing alright.

Happy to see that you are both doing well.
Also, I want to know where that scrap yard is so I can buy one of the front seats to make a badass gaming rig. lol

a heart 2nd for you and your son being OK after what by all appearances looks like an awful bang up. I can vouche for the admonition about driving tired, as I was hard pressed to complete a 2 hour trip back from Dayton OH yesterday after viewing the Air Force museum. I gladly handed over the last 45 minutes to my wife.

"Don't drive tired."
Damn right. Glad you both survived and your sin unharmed!

I spent two whole days at that museum about two years ago. Plane nerd heaven! Thank you.

Call Hartford Insurance and ask them, they went to the wrecking yard (Ellicott City, Md.) and got the wreck.
